To Plant/ To Kill

How many lives do we end each day? Human lives (our own, our children who are part of us, others), animal lives (through pet ownership or neglect, consumption or encouragement of slaughter, habitat destruction or direct killing with traps and pesticides), and plant lives (through deforestation, waste production, and consumption). With each ending we impose on a life, how do we change the world? Do we give as much life as we take? How many lives do we begin each day?
