An ongoing investigation into how patterns move from surfaces into bodies.
Pattern Logic began while living in the Scottish Borders. I was surrounded by tartans, woven fabrics, uniforms, rural landscapes, and repeated visual structures. At first I was interested in textiles. Gradually the question shifted.
What happens when a pattern leaves the fabric and enters the body?
