About this Edition
Research Edition 01 preserves a specific moment in the development of The Coveration of Eve.
Developed through Refusal to Remain Visible during the Hospitalfield Interdisciplinary Residency in August 2026, the edition follows a line of research that began with leaving as an act of choice and moved through questions of the body, the frame, visibility, absence, and the archive.
Rather than presenting a finished body of work, each edition gathers traces of that process, fragments from the research wall and visual notebook, a handmade research booklet, an archive card, and a small original work created individually for each edition.
Each of the 20 editions is assembled by hand, signed and numbered. While the research materials form a shared archive of the residency, the original work makes every edition individually unique.

Each numbered edition includes:
Research Booklet: a handmade 12-page booklet tracing the development of the research at Hospitalfield
Archive Card: signed and individually numbered
Research Wall Fragments: a selection of selected colour and black-and-white prints drawn from the working wall developed during the residency
Visual Notebook Fragments: selected colour and black-and-white fragments from the research notebook
Original Work: a unique, hand-made work created individually for each edition
Protective archival packaging
Each edition follows the same structure, while the hand-assembled material study varies from one edition to another.
